Step one - claim self defense.
Step two - Make sure your bail hearing is in front of a wacked out liberal black judge named Roderick Glenn Davis.
Step three - Have Davis listen your appointed public defender, who convinces the judge to enter the following as reason to grant bail.
This is a rebuttal presumption case. Defendant has presented evidence based on his/her strong ties to the community, employment history and or family support that rebuts the presumption. The fact of his case indicates that the alleged victim came to Defendant's home and would not leave. In considering the facts there may be a strong claim of self-defense. A $50,000 secured bond is reasonable based on the facts.
Never mind that you stabbed the victim 8 times.
At this point the judge for all intents and purposes has already held the trial and declared the defendant not guilty.
Crawford raised the $5,000 in cash needed to leave the Mecklenburg County Detention Center a few hours later and was released on September 29 at 10:21 am.
Since then Crawford has been indicted by a Mecklenburg Grand Jury on October 6, 2026.
Yet he remains free on the minimal bail. His next court date is for an Administrative Hearing on November 10, 2026.

The 911 caller stated that a male was being aggressive, would not leave, and tried to push his way inside and they stabbed him.

Brothers takin’ care of bros….
ReplyDeleteNormally I'm saying self-defense on this one, but my man was a deacon and keyboardist with the Metaphysical Church of Faith. And he loved kids. No way he was up to no good.
ReplyDeleteBut bail is not meant to be a punishment, simply a means to make people show up for hearings.
Now that textgate is over, can we return focus to the 10 homicides in 2 weeks?
ReplyDeleteThere’s going to be career path training, if you want to be a coordinator.
ReplyDeleteThey gonna teach you how to read children’s books and throw picnics. Rendons favorite.
DeleteCoordinators, “the good ones” cover up a lot of complaints that come in on patrol officers.
DeleteHa! Keep telling yourself that to validate that position. It needs to be wiped out completely now. Just people who don’t want to be police but want the badge for image.
DeleteFuked up when they get promoted to next level with no crime scene or tactical skills
DeleteIf you ever see brass that dont seem like cops, this is how they did it.
DeleteMeckurbia is a safe place where officers, fire fighters, and community leaders can voice their thoughts in a constructive manner to positively impact our community.
ReplyDeleteAs someone who was there and witnessed the aftermath of this incident firsthand, I find this article absolutely disgusting. A man losing his life is tragic, but the circumstances surrounding what happened matter. This one-sided narrative is irresponsible, and journalism should be about presenting facts, not painting someone as a cold-blooded murderer before the full story is told.
ReplyDeleteGo on…
DeleteWhy is it one sided?
Delete10pm curfew is now in place.
ReplyDeletePlease report to your homes or suffer penalties.
Adults too.
So kids with bad parents and poor housing structure will suffer after 11pm. They cant even read the policy in order to obey it. Good luck with that plan.
DeleteOmg.. now people be posting on social media their 911 calls with the police. You can watch the unhappy officers walk up to the house and defuse the situations with blacks.
ReplyDeleteNew Epic Center gon be off da chain
ReplyDeletehopin dey put a excelsior up in there
Bro no
DeleteSpeaking of coordinators,
ReplyDeleteChicago FD has their own show on NBC, and then they go beat a bum with a hooligan. It was self defense, but raises questions about the female officer that couldnt handle the suspect. Taser was deployed and the man was not handcuffed immediately after to secure the public. A fire fighter should never have to club a citizen and risk their own career.
