Road Rage Shooter Released on Unsecured Bond

You Can't Make This Up

It is no secret that Charlotte Thugs get a free pass from the Mecklenburg County District Attorney and Liberal Judges.

But how do you even begin to justify an unsecured bail for a guy who shot two people in an fit of road rage?

Anil Dabydeem is charged with Possession of a stolen Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Assault with a Deadly Weapon Resulting in Serious injury (Two Counts), Discharge of a Weapon into Occupied Property (Three Counts), Going Armed to the Terror of People, Flee / Elude Arrest, Fail to Heed Lights or Siren, Speeding, Reckless Driving to Endanger, Fail to Stop for a Red Light.

Apparently Mecklenburg County Judge Fritz Mercer thinks the thug Anvl Dabydeen who was driving driving a car with expired South Dakota plates is not a flight risk.

According to CMPD on Wednesday January 8, 2025 around 3:45 officers responded to an assault with deadly weapon call for service on 1-485 outer. Multiple 911 calls advised that a black male was shooting at vehicles on the highway and also walking in between traffic pointing small, black pistol.

Responding officers found two victims who had been shot by the suspect. The victims were in the same vehicle. Victim 1: (Driver) was struck in the left elbow. Victim 2: (Passenger) was struck in the left hand.

The suspect fled the scene in white, Honda Civic. The Crime scene was located on the side of
I-485 near the Steele Creek Rd. 1/2-Mile exit sign.

Officers located brass shell casings in the area the suspect was reported to be shooting.

Passerby's caught the suspect and suspect vehicle via cellphone pictures which were disseminated to detectives and officers.

While at the crime scene the suspect returned and sped by officers in the grass on the side of the highway.

CMPD officers along with NCSHP pursued the vehicle through the Berewick Community in the Steele Creek Division. During the pursuit, the defendant ran multiple red lights and stop signs.

The suspect was driving 2013 Honda Civic, with a South Dakota license plate. The
vehicle pursuit came to an end in the 6400 block of Ballybay Drive near where the suspect
lives with his aunt.

Officers located black semi-auto TAURUS 9mm pistol in the reachable area of the suspect
in the suspect's vehicle. The located weapon produced stolen hit in NCIC. The suspect was confirmed to be convicted felon through DCI.

Thanks to Judge Mercer's order he was released at 11:08 AM Friday morning.

Charlotte you've been warned this mofo is out there.

78 Counts

This thug is charged with 78 Counts of Discharging a Firearm into an Occupied Building. It is obvious he wasn't using his grandfather's stolen revolver.

Anthony Hall, 19 appeared before Judge Fritz Y Mercer. Jr. Friday afternoon (January 10, 2025) and had his bail was lowered to $10,000 and immediately posted by a bail bondsmen. He will be cut loose as soon as the paperwork is processed and he's fitted with the ordered Electronic Monitor.

Cedar Update: Hall was released from the Mecklenburg County at 11:18 Saturday January 11, 2025.

Charloot'e First Homicide of 2024

Meanwhile on the north side of Charlotte and again at Interstate 85 and an the exit ramp at West W. T. Harris Blvd Marquail Antonio Burris crashed into one or two cars and the vehicles ended up in the weeds.

During the following moments Burris decided to flee the scene but was stopped by Christopher Arrojo.  Burris then produced a handgun and shot Arrojo dead.

Burris is charged with murder, hit and run (2 counts) and carrying a concealed weapon.

His prior arrests for stolen vehicle, assault, speeding and no operators license resulted in voluntary dismissals by the meck DA.

He'll be back in front of (You Guessed Correctly) Judge Mercer this afternoon and we'll let you know if he's also given an unsecured bond.

Where is this thug now?

Demont Forte

You might recall the endless revolving door that violent thug Demont Forte was enjoying while terrorising Charlotte since his first release from prison in 2011.

Forte was the poster child for low and cash free bail and liberal sentencing guidelines.

Most of Forter's crimes didn't make the news including a several hour armed standoff with CMPD's VCAT (Violent Criminal Apprehension Team) back in 2019.

But he made the 6 o'clock local news in 2021 when during a road rage incident he knocked a woman driver out cold hitting her so hard she flew out of her shoes.

His arrest and quick cash free bail release by Mecklenburg County District Court Judge Jennifer Fleet failed to make the headlines.

Finally someone noticed and he was indicted on a habitual felon change and convicted on April 8, 2024. He was promptly given a 6-8 year active prison sentence by Mecklenburg County Judge J. T. Davis.

He remains in the custody of the North Carolina Department of Corrections with projected release date of 2031.

Forte has a 1/2 dozen charges still pending but it is doubtful he'll stand trial on these new charges. The bottom line is he should not have been allowed to plead to manslaughter back in 1994 a charge he was only given probation.

Menace To Society Lavar Hall

I get a lot of  "Heads Up" and "Check This Out" and nothing shocks me anymore. But a shooting in which four people are shot doesn't need a lot of talk to cause concern.

Yet local media tends to be dismissive of this sort of activity within the black community as they see it as business as usual.

WCCB reported this shooting as follows:

CMPD is investigating a shooting involving four people in east Charlotte that happened late Thursday night.

According to Medic, the shooting happened on the 8700 block of Purple Thistle Lane in east Charlotte.

The shooting appears to have happened between 10-11PM.

Medic says three patients have life-threatening injuries and one person has non-life-threatening injuries. They transported 2 patients with life-threatening injuries to Atrium CMC, and 1 patient with life-threatening injuries and 1 patient with non-life-threatening injuries to Novant Presbyterian.

CMPD has not released any information at this time.

And that is it, there is no follow up by the local media even for a mass shooting because no one died.

It is the same old story, repeat felon with a bunch of dismissals, low bail on pending cases. A district attorney who is lazy and liberal judges who view every black defendant as a victim.

Lavar Hall Photo Courtesy MCSO

This is the shooter Lavar Hall and of course this isn't his first rodeo. Hall has pending cases and prior weapons charges.

Why is this menace to society even allowed out on bond? Why was this thug not in jail awaiting trial on his prior weapons charges?

CMPD's Summary:

On January 2, 2025 at approximately 2248 hours Hickory Grove division patrol officers responded to 8731 Purple Thistle Lane in Charlotte, North Carolina reference an assault with deadly weapon were several subjects were shot.

Officers arrived on scene and located four subjects shot including the defendant. During protective sweep of the residence officers located black Glock handgun, black rifle and numerous spent shell casings.

Officers advised that this incident occurred due to an ongoing dispute between roommates. All
subjects from the residence were transported to the hospital.

The defendant (Hall) is being charged with AWDIKISI (3. counts), AWDIK (2 counts), battery on an unborn child, and discharge firearm into enclosure to incite fear (9 counts).

Cedar's Take:

Hall should not be released. Any judge that sets a low bail or later lowers his bail and allows him to leave jail should be called into account. Vote these idiots off the bench.

Incarceration Saves Lives Diondre Bittle was 33

CP, has been preaching this a while.

The liberal loonybirds want to abolish prisons. They also want to abolish cash bail and claim that jail is racist. They sincerely believe that defunding the police and closing all the prisons will bring about a nirvana like utopia.

Liberal judges (they are all liberal) in Mecklenburg county routinely let career felons walk on little or no bail. The Mecklenburg DA dismisses cases at a rate of 9 in 10.

And so the final homicide of 2024 is a perfect example as to why this liberal thinking is dead wrong.

This is Diondre Bittle he was 33 when on December 30, 2024 he experienced a permanent dirt nap.

Mr. Bittle was a career criminal and felon and on the night he was murdered he should have been in the Mecklenburg County Jail awaiting trial on a habitual felon charge.

Bittle started his criminal career in high school thanks to the Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. Back in 2008 at the age of 18 was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery and having a gun on campus. A year later he was convicted and sent to prison for 3 years and was released in April of 2012 but continued under post prison supervision which ended on January 13, 2013.

A month later in February 2013 he was arrested again for robbery and was convicted on June 6, 2013 but this time rather than an active prison sentence he was given probation.

On September 7, 2013 he was arrested on drug charges and again given probation.

Then on September 9, 2013 his probation on the February 2013 conviction was revoked and he begin a 3 month jail term. Bittle was released on Christmas Eve 2014.

In 2015 he was arrested and charged with Felony B&E (2 Counts) that occured on July 1, 2015.

In February of 2017 he was convicted of those two counts and the enhancement of Habitual Felon and sentenced to 6 years and 6 months in prison. He was released on September 25, 2023 having served nearly than 9 years of his life behind bars but remained under the supervision of his parole officer.

On August 11, 2024 he was arrested in Cabarrus County on a long list of motor vehicle violations.

At this point (August 12, 2024) his grandmother Natasha Asbury tried to intervene seeking help from the Cabarrus County Courts. Her "Petition for Adjudication of Incompetence" citing OCD, Schizophrenia, Manic Depressive Disorder and other issues was never heard.

Bittle's parole supervision ended on September 24, 2024.

Enter Sabrina Roth who on December 30, 2024 police say shot and killed Mr. Bittle

According to CMPD: On Monday, December 30, shortly after 9:15 p.m., officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call for service in the 8200 block of Dave McKinney Avenue.  Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim (Bittle) with a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene by Medic.

On Thursday, January 2, 2025, VCAT (Violent Criminal Apprehension Team) arrested Roth. Officers transported Roth to the Law Enforcement Center (LEC) where she was interviewed by homicide detectives.

At the conclusion of this interview, Roth was transferred into custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office.

Roth is charged with Murder, Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon, Conspiracy to Commit Armed Robbery. She is currently being held without bond in the Mecklenburg County Jail.

Unconfirmed reports state that this was potentially a drug deal gone sideways. What is not clear is if CMPD Officers are still searching for a second suspect.

Where are they now?

Cedar's Take:

What is clear is that Mr. Bittle should have been incarcerated. Not only for the good of society but for his own protection as well. The tragic failure of our courts, probation officers, the North Carolina prison system and frankly society as a whole to protect Mr. Bittle can not be dismissed.

Finally there is one more victim in this case Ms. Roth, who is also likely a life ended too soon.

For those that say good riddance to Mr. Bittle, I can't disagree. Death is an easy solution to a complex problem. But that's not an answer. Charlotte's homicide rate would be less than half if every felon who was murdered in 2024 was serving sentences that would have been handed down just a decade ago. Prison is not fun but incarceration saves lives.

Armed Thugs Try To Take Over Romare Bearden Charlotte for NYE

Reports were that a total of five thugs were arrested New Years Eve by CMPD attempting to drive into uptown Charlotte with weapons during the end of the year festivities.

First reports were this was an unfounded rumor. Turns out it was 6 and not 5.

CMPD announced the following arrests.

Rassell Young, 18, is charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Resist/Delay/Obstruct and Possession of Marijuana.

Genesis Roland
, 19,
is charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Resist/Delay/Obstruct and Possession of Marijuana.

Jergio Jesus Pavon-Reyes, 18, is charged with Possession of a Stolen Firearm.

Murray Edwards, 42, is charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Disorderly Conduct.

Treshawn Goff, 27, is charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

Dashawn Douglas, 29, is charged with Carrying a Concealed Weapon.

Additionally:

Kaheem Brower, 28, is charged with Affray.

Donaven McCoy, 29, is charged with Affray.

As well as ten juveniles were arrested and they ranged in age from 10 – 15-years-old. Their charges include violating the Youth Protection Ordinance, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Subsequently, all parents/guardians of the arrested juveniles were cited and charged with Contributing to the Delinquency and Neglect by Parents and Others.

As we have previously noted Mecklenburg County DA Spencer Merriweather doesn't agree with the YPO and will undoubtedly dismiss the charges against the parents.

Thank you Tina Quizon @TinaQuizon chasing down the facts.

SouthPark Harris Teeter Bear Spray Hoodrats Still Being Arrested

You might recall back in October CMPD Command staff proudly telling the gathered news crowd that Officers had arrested the SouthPark Morrocroft Harris Teeter "Bear Spray" Organized Retail Shoplifting crooks.

Said CMPD Major Ryan Butler:

“The city has seen a rise in these crimes, which are increasingly violent and threaten the safety of retail employees and customers.”

CMPD officers had located and arrested five suspects who committed numerous shoplifting incidents throughout the City of Charlotte. The shoplifting incidents escalated into Common Law Robberies when the suspects sprayed retail employees with bear spray in order to flee the scene.

The case that was well documented by local media and occurred on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024 at a Harris Teeter store in CMPD’s Providence Division in the 6700 block of Carnegie Boulevard.

The suspects used hijabs (head coverings) to disguise their appearances. When a store employee approached the suspects and asked for them to leave, they sprayed the worker with bear spray.

According to CMPD, as a result of the investigation, detectives identified two suspects involved and were able to link these suspects as well as three others to several organized retail crime cases. On Friday, Sept. 20, officers arrested and charged the following suspects in connection with these incidents:

                                                                                Zaniya Howard, 18

Soverria Davis, 19

Heaven Manning, 20

Amiya Beatty, 22

Shaquilla Martin, 29

Now that as far as the local media was concerned was the end of it. But not in Charloote where jail is just a small inconvenience.

Zaniya Howard was arrested again on December 2 and then again on December 16 she spent a few days in jail until a Mecklenburg County Judge lowered her bail and she was released on December 21.

Soverria Davis was arrested again on October 1 and released on December 3.

Heaven Manning hasn't been arrested since

Amiya Beatty was arrested again on October 15, and then on October 25 and then on November 1 and most recently December 5 and released again on December 9. She currently has more than 20 cases pending and not a single conviction.

Shaquilla Martin was also charged on a probation violation but was released on November 8 and hasn't been arrested since.

Charlotte store owners and managers should post these photos so that every employee knows who these people are and that they are dangerous.
