Charlotte's clueless Mayor, who is for the most part invisible on social media, decided that she'd speak out about one of the city most pressing issues Small Business.

"This #SmallBusinessSaturday, let’s show up for the heart of Charlotte – our local shops, restaurants, and entrepreneurs. Shop Small. Support CLT."

I lived in Charlotte for years- had family that lived there as well . I have no desire to go to Charlotte for anything .  I value mine and my families life too much to risk it shopping there.

The perception of crime is simple. We all know about of the murder of 23 year old Iryna Zarutska and we have all seen the images of her horrific death. We see our own daughters in her, our wives and our children in her.

Charlotte is a crime-ridden shithole. Public safety would improve immediately if you resigned. You are a 🤡

We hear of other senseless murders and we see the lack of traffic enforcement, the expired plates, the speeding and red light running. The gangs of ATV and Mini Bike kids riding reckless through and down Uptown streets and intersections. We see the roads and street signs in sad repair and trash and litter at every stop light.

We see the homeless and panhandlers. 

This is the very visible crime we see. 

This is not the Charlotte we knew 10 years ago when Vi Lyles became Mayor.

You can not convince anyone that "Charlotte is by and large a safe city" when the crime we is is in our FACE!
