Bad Hombres Who Rents to These People?

Charlotte's Latino crime problem is directly related to illegal immigrants. They drive down the cost of labor. They prey on hard working legal immigrants and they drive up the cost of Charlotte housing.

100,000 illegal immigrants reside in Mecklenburg County, many have settled in the slums that once were the domicile of Charlotte's poorest blacks, West Charlotte.   

Beyond coming into our country illegally they are often involved in criminal activity. Drugs, weapons, organized retail theft, child sex trafficking, and more. 

On August 8th two illegal immigrants and apparent gang members left their 1,100 square foot home off of West Boulevard and drove out towards Steele Creek.

This wasn't a social visit, rather a shakedown and intimidation call. 

Their target FERNANDO LEYNEZ ALTAMIRANO and ALAN RODRIGUEZ ALTAMRIANO.

The brothers lived in the by comparison a well heeled Arbor Gate Apartments in CMPD's Steele Creek Division.

According to CMPD the two suspects left their West Charlotte home at 3114 Ridge avenue and quickly found themselves in far nicer soundings.

Once at the Arbor Gate Apartments they sought out the ALTAMIRANO brothers and attacked them.

Both are charged with 

AWDW INTENT TO KILL (2 Counts)

FELONY CONSPIRACY

SIMPLE ASSAULT

ASSAULT INFLICT SERIOUS INJ(M)

Charlotte's problem with illegals is compounded by the land lords who rent homes to these apparent gang members with no questions asked, no background or credit check with cash payment required. 

But who benefits by renting these barely livable homes and apartments to illegals?

The same people who live in 2 Million Dollar SouthPark homes like this.

Name and Address Withheld

This home belongs to the couple who own OakRock One, LLC, the company that owns 3114 Ridge  Avenue. The same residence claimed by ANDERSSON FRANCISCO MALDONADO-ALFARO and YASER EMANUEL RIVERA.

The same company that owns 3114 Ridge Avenue also owns 2 dozen rental units on Lincoln Heights Court an area off Catherine Simmons Avenue a part of Charlotte synonymous with crime and homicides.

These people are your neighbor, your fellow country club and corporate board members. Yet they derive there wealth at the expense of hard working Charlotte taxpayers like the rest of us.  

They are the same people who support Charlotte City Council's "feel good anti ICE" agenda. 

Both men arrested are being held without bond in the Mecklenburg County Jail both have ICE Detainers. 

CMPD Officer Affidavit:

On August 8, 2026, Steele Creek Division Officers responded to 9041 Arborgate Drive in reference to an assault with deadly weapon call for service. Call comments advised that male was shot.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with victim F. L. Altamirano (F.L.) and A.R. Altamirano (A.R.). F.L. had laceration above eye, blood on his clothing and face, and bruising and cuts on his face. As officers spoke with him, it was apparent he had head injury with his memory issues and interactions.

The victims advised they were outside in the parking lot drinking when three vehicles quickly pulled into the parking lot. One male exited the first vehicle and approached A.R. and F.L. and punched them in the face with closed fist. A.L. advised he went to punch him back and saw that three other people were coming towards them, so they ran away. 

At this time, they heard shots. Alan reported that he took cover behind vehicle briefly then ran back towards his initial location to look for F.L. when he heard more shots and the vehicles left. 

He then saw Fernando on the ground with injuries.

They provided vehicle descriptions to include Blue possibly Honda, Black possibly Infinity, and Gray or black sedan. lock cameras at the front of the apartment complex show blue Toyota Corolla displaying NC LKD5132 entering the complex at 10:51:57 PM. gray Honda Accord displaying NC MBL8569 is seen entering the complex at 10:52: 00hrs. black Infinity displaying NC temporary license plate is seen entering the complex at 10:52:04 PM. 

These vehicles all matched the ones seen on surveillance camera.

Surveillance footage shows three vehicles arrive at approximately 2252hrs. Blue Toyota sedan arrives first, followed by gray Honda sedan, and black Infinity sedan. 

People are seen exiting the vehicles and quickly moving towards the victims. The victims are seen running and the suspects follow them. The suspects are seen punching and kicking F.L. while he is laying on the ground. The suspects quickly run to their cars and leave at 2254hrs. 

Officers also located multiple shell casings on scene.

Detectives reviewed surveillance footage at the Quik Trip after reviewing DOT cameras. The passenger of the black Hyundai Genesis was wearing distinct clothing and entered the store and to purchase alcohol. He was clearly seen on cameras and had distinct tattoos.

On August 10, 2026, the gray Honda Accord hit license plate reader on West Blvd. Officers circulated the area and located the gray Honda Accord displaying MBL8569 and the blue Toyota Corolla displaying LKD5132 at the 3100 block of Ridge Avenue. 

Officers made contact with the residents of the house. The owner of the house identified himself as Yasar Emanuel Rivera DOB 06/07/1989. 

He was identifiable as the male seen on camera in the Quik Trip footage based on his face, build, and tattoos. During post-Miranda interview, he admitted to being at the incident but denied involvement.

Based on the above incident, Yasar Emanuel Rivera DOB 06/07/1989 is being charged with the following: 

Assault with Deadly Weapon with Intent to Kill X2

Felony Conspiracy 

Assault Inflicting Serious Injury
