CMPD detectives have charged Daniel Sansone age 29 with the murder of Daniel Edward Sansone, Jr. (Their relation if any seems to be uncertain at this time.)
The man (Sansone, Jr.) was taken to the hospital on Sunday with severe injuries, bruises and bleeding from the head and Sansone was arrested and placed in the custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff.
The man died from his injuries Monday and Sansone's charges were elevated to Murder.
Cedar's Take:
Daniel Sansone has more than 30 prior charges and many of them for violent crimes. Yet the Mecklenburg County District Attorney has managed to dismiss everyone of them.
His arrest earlier this year along with his violent history and failure to appear should have prevented bail from being granted, but the courts released him once again.
Cedar's Opinion - Incarceration saves lives!
sgt. ramsey was chewing out rudd in his class a uniform and hat. please fix our problems in central.
ReplyDeleteWhat was the reason for the ass chewing?
DeleteProbably because he’s a retard.
DeleteHe wasn’t learning it.
DeleteDang. Why everyone hate that dude lol
DeleteYou ever seen family guy? Imagine being Peter Griffin but not funny at all, what are you left with?
DeleteMerry Christmas to everyone at CMPD and Central Division. If you accept Jesus Christ into your life tomorrow morning, then good luck will come your way. You will be saved in 2025 and forget all your past regrets and troubles. Freedom is in your grasp, if you know who to ask.
DeleteI'll pay his bail and give him a 500 yard head start.
ReplyDeleteSeriously this POS deserves nothing not even a head start. Pray the case is a lock.
ReplyDeleteHe killed his dad Cedar, not his son…
ReplyDeleteSeems to some confusion about that. He has a couple of court orders regarding child support and emergency custody orders WCNC says the two people only share the same surname and are unrelated.
DeleteWho knows.
The victim is 65 years old.
DeleteThe son is the suspect.
DeleteI wonder if the victim would have survived if medic had 1) actually dispatched on it when the call came in, or 2) actually dispatched on it when units asked for medic, or 3) actually dispatched on it when they finally told dispatcher the guy was basically dying in front of them. Anyone with insight as to why Medic took an obscenely long time to even be dispatched on? I know medic has this weird habit now of waiting for CMPD to let then know if they are needed...even if the 911 call clearly indicates they are, but 10 min ETA time after half an hour of multiple requests is borderline negligence.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the “new and improved” Medic—now with even fewer staffed trucks! Because who doesn’t love waiting for an ambulance that’s coming from South Charlotte when you’re on the very north side (University/Highland Creek)? Spoiler alert: nobody, especially the patient or family.
DeleteCFD and neighboring departments have basically been picking up Medic’s slack lately, covering their calls left and right. North side CFD units have probably lost count of how many times they’ve had to request Cabarrus EMS because Medic’s idea of “rapid response” is a 15-20+ minute ETA from the opposite side of the city? Let’s be real, Medic’s been struggling to keep their act together for years, and their brilliant solution? Restructure everything and still fail to deliver. Meanwhile, CFD and the surrounding departments have been getting the short end of the stick so often, they finally had enough and demanded a new contract. Can you blame them?

Why doesnt CFD just buy some ambulances and start running EMS calls too?
DeleteFort Worth Texas, which is about the same population of Charlotte, is taking over ambulance service from MedStar (Medic). They are rebranding the ambulances now.
ReplyDeleteMedic at one time had good people. A few still left.
