CMPD Arrests One for Pre-Christmas West Charlotte Double Homicide

CMPD Officers have arrested Aristides Eli Orellana-Ramirez age 22 for the December 20, 2025 murder of Baravilo Galeano Ayala age 16.

He has not been charged with the death of Samir Canales Molina which happened at the same time on Farmhurst Lane just before Christmas.

Both Ayala and Molina were driver and front seat passenger in the car that  Ramirez was riding in the back seat.

Ramirez is apparently not a US citizen. Yet there is not currently an ICE Detainer.

CMPD has not yet confirmed the arrest.

However as the following arrest affidavit it shows there were at least three weapons in the vehicle and no explanation for the shooting is given or who shot the second victim Molina

According to CMPD Investigators:

On Saturday, December 20, 2025, at approximately 0335 hours, CMPD officers responded to Novant Health Presbyterian Main's (Novant) Emergency Room in reference to white Infiniti sedan arriving with victim suffering from gunshot wound.

The victim, Braulio Galeano Ayala (Ayala) (H/M, 02/13/2009), was pronounced deceased by Dr. Merrill at 0407 hours.

At 0342 hours, CMPD Officers responded to 100 Woodlawn Road in reference to the 911 caller reporting victim with gunshot wound in white BMW sedan. MEDIC responded and transported the victim, Samir Canales Molina (Molina) (H/M, 08/17/2007), to Atrium Health Main (Atrium) where he was pronounced deceased.

It was later determined that the two victims originated from the same incident, which occurred at 839 Farmhurst Drive.

Detectives are conducting Murder investigation in violation of N.C.G.S. 14-17 under CMPD Report 20251220-0335-01.

Detectives spoke with multiple witnesses who identified themselves to law enforcement. The witnesses advised that they were inside of the white Infiniti and that victim Ayala was driving the vehicle. They identified Molina as being passenger in the vehicle as well.

The witnesses identified the seating positions of all occupants inside of the vehicle. The witnesses identified Aristedes Eli Orellana Ramirez (Ramirez) (H/M, 08/05/2003), and stated that he was sitting in the back left passenger seat, directly behind the driver's seat.

The witnesses advised that several of the occupants of the Infiniti were armed with firearms. They advised that Ayala drove the white Infiniti with the four other occupants to 839 Farmhurst Drive to attend a party. The witnesses from the Infiniti advised that when they arrived in the parking lot of Farmhurst Drive, they heard gunfire, and began shooting into the parking lot.

The witnesses advised that Ayala was struck in the head, so they placed him into the white Infiniti and drove him to Novant.

Detectives collected video footage from nearby apartment. The video shows the white Infiniti come into

view, the occupants exit the vehicle, and begin shooting. Ayala is seen shooting from the open driver door, and another subject is seen shooting directly behind him from the open, back left passenger door. On the video, there is muzzle flash visible coming from directly behind the driver's door, and Ayala immediately drops to the ground. No other muzzle flash was seen on video coming from anywhere other than the occupants of the white Infiniti.

Detectives consulted with the Medical Examiner's Office. They advised that Ayala was shot in the back of the head.

Detectives also spoke with additional witnesses who were on scene and have identified themselves to law enforcement. They advised that the only gunfire in the parking lot was coming from the occupants of the white Infiniti.

One of the witnesses also advised the seating positions of the occupants of the vehicle, placing Ramirez in the back left passenger seat, which was consistent with what the witnesses inside of the vehicle advised.

Crime Scene Search (CSS) collected multiple discharged cartridge cases (DCC's), 9MM, .40 Caliber, and .223,  from the PVA of 839 Farmhurst Drive and from the white Infiniti. CSS also collected Palmetto AR-15 from the scene, and Glock 19 and Canik Mete MC9 from the white Infiniti.

Detectives spoke with Ramirez after the shooting. He advised that he had been drinking and did not remember much of what happened. Ramirez denied shooting firearm, and stated that he stayed inside of the vehicle during the shooting. Ramirez advised that he did pick up firearm from near Ayala after he got shot and placed it into the white Infiniti.

On December 21, 2025, CMPD officers responded to 831 Farmhurst Drive, Apartment in reference to Discharging weapon into occupied property. The victim, Krissten Timmons (Timmons) (B/F, 10/10/1982), advised that she was asleep in her living room on December 20. She advised that around 0330 hours she was awoken by gunfire outside. She advised that she has an young child, who was not home during the shooting. Timmons advised that when her daughter returned that morning, she went to lay her in her bedroom. When she got there, she noticed paint and drywall on her daughters bed.

Timmons advised that she observed hole in the wall. CSS collected projectile from the bedroom.

Based on the facts obtained during the investigation, there is probable cause that Murder and Discharging certain barreled weapons or firearm into occupied property occurred and Aristedes Eli Orellana Ramirez (Ramirez) (H/M, 08/05/2003), committed these offenses.

Cedar's Take:

100s of illegal Hispanic teens and pre-teens now reside in Charlotte most are nothing more than thugs with guns with zero future in a normal society. Bleeding heart liberals have turned Charlotte into a bug light for illegals with free stuff (housing, medical care, groceries and education) and zero accountability for unlawful behavior.

Charlotte's understaffed police department can't even connect the dots in this case for nearly 3 weeks even then because the PIO is apparently a part time position the public remains uniformed except when sources like CP get a heads up from within the department.

  2. If this is true and I have no reason to doubt it why has this arrest not been on the local news? How is it that Cedar knows about this arrest and CMPD has said nothing?

  3. Don’t let this article distract you from the fact that 100s of you chose to stay at CMPD after the Wes Kerrick trial. Recently, Rodney Monroe was seen visiting Chief Patterson at her office.

  4. Rodney Monroe is the reason why the department is in the shit show shape it is. Patterson would be wise to steer well clear of that fool.

    2. It will take another 10 years to undo what Monroe did to the department, the mere fact he’s sniffing around there is sickening.

    3. I do not believe the CMPD will ever be the same. Charloot is truly Chocolate City and run by demorats that have no desire to curb the crime, waste, fraud, graft, and corruption.
