Robin Emmons is a college educated, former bank employee with a background in finance, she is a well known social activist.
She is also a resident of district 3 and has released the following "Open Letter" expressing her concerns regarding Tiawana Brown, Garry McFadden, and Charlotte City Council's payment to Johnny Jennings.
She takes particular issue with Councilwoman Brown's statement "the justice system does not favor people who look like me" calling it a careless deflection from legitimate inquiry.
Props to Joe Bruno for posting her letter on "X".
And she will still vote to keep people like that in office because of one thing: race. The only thing that matters in Charlotte when it comes to leadership.
ReplyDeleteTRUE DAT...
DeleteShe is just trying to get Tijuana’s seat when they boot her. Who fucking cares? The idiots will keep getting voted into office until people wake up and begin to give a shit.
ReplyDeleteI guess there are not enough white people in district 3 to elect a non criminal? Are the only people of color willing to run convicted felons?
ReplyDeleteI don’t care about this. Just move to South Carolina and be gone.
ReplyDeleteApparently you do since you're here reading and commenting...
DeleteGet out of Mecklenburg. Too much crime, drugs, bums, con artists, and dirty govco employees.
ReplyDeleteEasy for you apartment dwellers to say.
ReplyDeleteI know plenty who work Da Creek and live in RH or FM some who live in MH or even Stonia.
But for a dumbass like me who bought an older home off Sharon Road so my kids could go to the better school like Quail and Myers Park F you! Yeah it was a fixer upper now my life savings is invested in a 2,800 square foot home that has both memories and heartache. I am not willing to give it up because the "N" class thinks being a criminal is whitey's fault.
Screw JJ and his payoff. Screw anyone who thinks hidey hole is the way to go.
I'm going to knock heads when needed and put down a felon if warranted.
Peace Brothers.
You’re going to have a wonderful 6 year long career
DeleteTammy is looking up Sharon Rd on her spreadsheet for that racist right now.
DeleteAs I sip my tea on this beautiful Sunday morning, I ponder why we don’t choose love at CMPD and CFD instead of hate and scams? We just promoted a new gay sgt and I believe he could promote an open workplace of love and support. ❤️
ReplyDeleteBasing promotion on race, gender, sexual orientation, or religion instead of merit is corruption in and of itself. Why is CMPD so focused on these things versus whoever would best serve the position based on proven skills and qualifications?
DeleteBecause it’s what’s best for the company. DEI IS THE FUTURE
