The defendant was observed by this R/O operating white Ford Van on Hickory Grove Rd. The defendant was stopped no tag light. The defendant had red/glassy eyes faint odor of an alcoholic beverage on their breath.

The defendant performed poorly on SFST. Positive PBT.

Based on these facts the defendant was believed to be operating motor vehicle while under the influence of an impairing substance that appreciably impaired the defendants mental and/or physical faculties.

Each illegal was due in court for hearings at the time of their arrests.

According to local sources in 2025 the Department of Homeland Security issued guidance saying ICE agents could conduct civil immigration enforcement in or near courthouses when they have credible information that leads them to believe their targeted suspects will be present.

The Biden administration, however, previously banned ICE arrests at courthouses.

Cedar's Take:

Each of these four idiots should not be here in the USA.

Still, I find it hard to understand why if you were here illegally you would not be on your best behavior. Why would you call attention to yourself? Once you are arrested even if the Mecklenburg County Sheriff lets you go why would you think that ICE and/or CBP were not coming for you.

Why did they not self deport? Take the money and go home?

Democrats will complain that these men support families and they are not the violent murderers or child rapists that Trump says he's targeting.

Still someone in the DA's Officer or Courts tagged these guys and made ICE aware they were on the docket and might just be stupid enough to show up.

Bravo Zulu to whomever you are. Well Done.

  1. I don’t know. Maybe if our SROs took a little belt to ass on school skippers, our natives might graduate being able to read.
But I’m with you. When you trespass lightly, you may be forgiven. But trash the place and you get thrown out.

    1. I liked Collins and Robbins overall. Build Jail West and reopen jail North. Charlotte has tax dollars to pay the 14mil to reopen the extra jails. The big problem is the staffing shortage which is linked to poor leadership.

    2. I thought the questions were funny. Talking about the threats against staff and the resignations.

    3. None of them had any solutions. They talked about assaults on staff and deaths at the jail. They all want a second jail and more funding. Collins sounded the best, but Ricky gets it the most.

  3. Can anyone over at CFD explain for me why hanging out at the station and responding to stubbed toes qualifies you for equal pay as officers? This whining every few years about the pay difference is insufferable. The demand of the two jobs don’t even begin to compare to each other. If you want more money, come to the other side and earn it.

    2. 1755 can you explain the dangers of south, airport, and lake unit?

  4. @1154: Really? You wanna go back and forth over 2 units that have very small numbers compared to the whole of CMPD and CFD? Dude, lake unit is like 10 guys. Still police officers and still required to show up if the big red handle gets pulled regardless of the “unit” they are assigned to. Piss off with that shyte.

  5. I agree with 12:24. For years on this site people want to degrade SRO’s, Lake, South and Airport. I sure these SEAL TEAM SIX wannabes have never worked either job. SRO’s put up with bratty & dangerous kids and irresponsible “parents”. Lake Norman has over 500 miles of shore line, coming from four counties, with thousands of drunk idiots in hundreds of boats and jet skis. And it’s hot as hell 6 or 7 months of the year. South may not have drug dealers on every corner or a murder every other day but it has the highest population density in Mecklenburg County not to mention the God awful traffic. The odds are you will be busy. Then the airport. In 2025, almost 54 million people went through CLT. That’s close to 150,000 per day on average. And 20,000 employees. The officers have to work with, or endure, TSA, FBI, ICE, Homeland Security and CLT security etc. Tell me with those numbers daily that it is an easy job. I’m retired now after 33 years so I don’t really have a dog in the fight. But maybe those casting rocks should transfer to one of these units and give it a try. It might chance your mind Robo Cop.

    1. How do you transfer to Lake Unit or SRO in South? Is there a test?

    2. High risk of sun cancer on lake unit. We need someone with high melatonin to apply.

You got a better chance getting shot a SRO in 3/4 of CMS mini-prisons than you do on the street.

But yes, how do we transfer? Do I get to take the jet ski home? Is the truck a take home?
