Juwan Sean Brye Changed With Murder

We've reached the point of stupid where CMPD makes an arrest in a homicide case yet we are left to guess why and for what murder. Odd don't you think?

What we do know is that Juwan Brye was processed at the MCSO Intake Center at just after 2 AM this morning. He is charged with 1st Degree Murder and Discharging a Firearm into Occupied Property.

BUt this depends on the accuracy of the input made by the MSCO which is well known for processing error, misspelled names, incorrect charges, and other errors. Their inability to understand hispanic surnames is legendary.

  1. What you people need to realize is that the city is lying about their application process for years and people have come on that are not qualified to be here.

There are rules or standards so be prepared for lawsuits and complaints regarding cognitive impairment, cognitive ability, and lazy behavior.

We need to acknowledge the truth and address our options. Thank you.

  2. If you look back on it..the Metro 5 didn’t do their jobs when they failed to watch that dead black guy in their custody. It cost the city millions of dollars and showed a lack attention to detail and concentration. This city can do better than that. The chief made the correct decision to terminate them to avoid additional problems in the future and public unrest. However, their supervisors should have warned them to resign prior to termination, which would have helped them legally during their investigations and future employment. We can all learn from these errors and become better at our jobs.

  3. Nick, we need to determine and clarify why people are leaving these organizations in record numbers and attempt to slow their exit. We need to offer competitive options to our team members, as well as, provide leadership improvements to these agencies from the top down. Information transparency is key and vital to keeping these organizations afloat and functioning.

By ignoring the elephant in the room of mental health problems from the leadership at these agencies the we will continue to go down the path of destruction and decay. I retired from CMPD and I just pray that the citizens will take action and remove several of these unstable leaders like Major Brisbon.

  5. So to be reals, the city did an independent audit of of CMS and CMPD where it showed a lack of support for ground workers that were facing the public. It’s is unknown if these places actually did anything to fix it. Some things are just unsalvageable. Just come move to Wesley chapel.

  6. It’s no mystery, and there’s no need for comprehensive studies to determine, why people leave CMPD. The pay has gotten better but there’s little balance with work and home. You’re expected to do the work of 5 people - today’s CMPD officer is now doing the work of yesterday’s magistrate, judges, DA’s, DJJ counselors, and 3 other officers worth of work due to staffing levels and misplaced administrative responsibilities. On top of that, you spend all of your time responding the same problems with the same people, pushing the same paper over and over because the judicial system is in favor of rehabilitation instead of incarceration. If you work, the cases go nowhere and you face punitive action from a hostile command staff. There’s no amount of money worth those conditions.
